- The Venture Co, I transfered here after starting WoW when I was around 64 for my friend Adranos. I wanted to start raiding as prot and he said he could help me out. I joined his guild called ressurection and I quickly gathered a pre KZ set by doing instances. It didn't take long before I had my pre 25 man tanking set together, but sadly due to the guild being a tight group of friends I wasn't really able to participate as much as I'd like to. So eventually I left the guild for another, called Burning Phoenix, to hope and further progress. I do owe ressurection alot because I learned alot about my class there and they helped me start off.

Burning Phoenix, I joined this during their Vashj days and quickly noticed that their tempo was alot faster then I was used to, not that I didn't like it, in fact I enjoyed the challenge. I quickly got used to it, and tried to improve myself by doing extra stuff, like making maps of instances, adding every thrash into it and marking them and studying that to basically be able to impress and outclass the other tanks on next raids. These small things actually worked, and in no time I was pretty much tanking along side their MT and we were pretty much equal despite the huge gear difference. I ended up killing illidan with this guild and met alot of great friends here and eventually got promoted to Officer. But sadly like most guilds on a RP server, there's a lack of geared people. We needed more recruits and due to some inner drama we lost some core people. We never really got a chance to recover from this and eventually we decided to pull the plug and Disband. A tight group of friends moved together to a new guild, called BadNews on storm reaver.

I joined this guild alongside with Taero, our old MT. They needed a few MT but they were already 4/6 SWP so I really didn't know what to expect and if I even was good enough. But I did my best to research as good as I could. I ended up being able to keep up with them and eventually got promoted to Main Tank. But like I said, they were 4/6, but were really lacking active/geared people for the M'uru kill. The guild managed to recover abit. On the 5th of august we downed M'uru finnaly and it was great. Sadly soon after this cracks in the guild begin to appear, some people went casual after not feeling any challenge left, some even quit and we tried to replace them. Lots of new recruits, undergeared/unexperienced, some of them were good, but most of them were dissapointing. And you just can't build a good setup with that kind of people, even though we really tried. So this week, our GM decided to disband and give us all a chance at better pve. So here I am today.

I didn't play Pre TBC really, i've solo'd some ZG for headgear dolls and tigerboss and raptor boss because people always want to go there and I get dragged.

I'm Nico, I was planning to go to school this year again but was a tad to late so that didn't work out. I like to mess around alot, and play wow and watch series like King of Queens, Southpark and Married with Children.
I enjoy playing my warrior as prot and I love pvping abit to.
I've been maintanking in Badnews for few months now and I loved it. I arena alongside of it, but due to me being new I didn't manage to find that many partners yet, or atleast the caliber of people I would like to play with. You know, being able to avoid cc, think outside of the box and improvise constantly based on what sort of things happen, so sadly i'm only 2k rated right now. I also did alot of bearselling runs in Zul aman to get some gold and that's basically what i've been upto lately.

* Do you have any real life factor(s) that can hinder your playing?:
Nah

* We normally raid 19:15 to 0:00 (CET/GMT+1), is this a problem for you?:
Sounds like a dream
* What activity or attendance percentage would you guess that you can manage?: I've always had 100% attendance in every guild i've been in, and this one propably won't be any different

* We expect our guildies to be familiar w/ forums and regularly visit the guild forum. Is this something you're used to?:Yeah, I usually bookmark forums, it better be interesting though!

* Why should we recruit YOU?:
I'm a fun solid guy, I enjoy tanking and especially raiding and joking around.
And from what I understand this guild is pretty much that.
But in all seriousness, i've been Maintank in guilds, I know that tanks have to be really reliable and skilled and I feel that I can be a worthy part of this guild as a tank. I'm not sure yet if I'm upto par compared to your tanks, but i've seen a few video's of your guild and I feel I can easily keep up with that
* What do you expect from us as a guild?:I expect active people, solid raids, I hope some funny vent action and I demand arena from Ffghnn like you promised! And hopefully a solid team that will last even in WOTLK.

* Have you applied to any other guild as well as ours?Nope

* We require that you have a working Ventrilo (server is currently running v3.0) and a working microphone. Do you have any problems with talking on Ventrilo?: As a previous MT I can safely say I have no issues what so ever talking on vent, I do have been told my mic sucks because I use speakers but yeah

* EYEBALLERS is an international guild, thus the common spoken language is English. How would you rate your English on a scale from 1 to 10? I'd say like a 7 ish, I can understand the basic stuff and write the basic stuff, but like if you're getting all high classy word/grammar police then yeah you'll prolly find quite few mistakes then

* Describe your view on your role in raids:I don't want to include a skill rotation and impress you with my awesome leetzors tps because I don't feel like that is what tanking is about. Any moron with half a brain can figure out the basic tps circle and spam heroic strike along side of it. This however still doesn't say much about you nor does it matter that much. The tanks that tend to stand out and impress people and stay on people's mind are the ones that are aware of what's going on around them, they come prepared with consumables for every occasion, they learn the tactics, study the thrash for fast markings to ensure a steady pace during raids. They are prepared for worst case scenario's and can make an almost whipe situation turn over into a non whipe.
They are able to react fast and think fast and make good judgements when unexpected things happen and improvise and they don't die
without having every CD on cooldown unless healers suck, that or I switch to serker stance for beserker rage and you get lol crushed 3 x in a row. They think ahead of what could possibly happen and try to make sure it doesn't.
I like to believe I posses quite abit of these qualities, but there's always room for improvement and I hope that I can
improve myself by being in your guild and take myself to the next level.

Take my post as you wish, I just wanted to give some info to those that are interested.

As Asthu mentioned we are disbanding, thus everyone is looking for guilds.
Just wanted to say he is a great guy and a great tank. We were missing a MT when he joined and he fit the role perfectly. Never signed off and never skipped a raid.

He has all the skills you would expect from a Sunwell tank and his gear and gem choices reflect that as well.

I hope he finds what he's looking for here and I am sure he won't dissappoint you if you give him a chance.

Very nice app mate, vouch from previous GM as well and I really like how you handle your gear with enchants/gems etc.
